About Us
We are the University of Lincoln Students' Union Drama Society, letting students with all levels of skills and experience take part in amateur dramatics productions ranging from the silly to the serious.
What We Do
We aim to stage a variety of performances throughout the year, ranging from short showcases of talent through to more in-depth plays and the occasional dabble in experimental theatre. We also work alongside the University's other performing societies on larger productions and events. Alongside this we take part in events throughout the University's academic year, engaging with other students and organising events such as trips to the West End and backstage tours of theatre productions.
Throughout the year we have a variety of social events, ranging from the informal drink in the pub after rehearsals and group trips to see films or theatre through to organised nights out bowling, playing laser quest and generally having fun. For more on what we're doing take a look at our calendar.
The Drama Society perform mostly in venues around Lincoln, but have been known to travel the country and have performed as far afield as at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
